Traffic Rush Hour
A quick post to announce recent improvements to Reward Rebel, courtesy of the installation of the following Wordpress Plugins.
- Do Follow When a reader comments on a post, their blog benefits.
- Comment Luv When a reader comments on a post, this clever device displays a link to their most recent blog post.
- Subscribe to Comments When a reader comments on a post, they can opt to be emailed any follow-up comments.
- CFormsII - although I’ve created a ‘Contact Me’ page, I’m still having some teething difficulties, and temporarily at the stage of ‘staring at the customisation options, scratching my head in a bewildered fashion’.
- 4 Avatars When a reader comments on a post, their avatar appears alongside. In grateful appreciation for this plugin, here’s a lil link love to Jessie Simbulan on whose blog you’ll find engaging articles and helpful tips.
Watch this space;-D

Reward Rebel,
Bloggers’ avatars who comment on my posts do appear on the comment page. I don’t know how that happens, maybe its a service done by blogspot.com.
That other link about the last post of the blogger who posted a comment, will that apply to blogspot or only to wordpress sites? –Durano, done!

4Avatars - There are several options for the source of the avatar displayed, one of which is Blogger, hence you getting it as a default.
CommentLuv - Sorry, I don’t have a clue! Need to put out an APB for assistance;-D
Please can anyone help with this question?
On a Blogger / Blogspot blog is there a plugin that’ll work like CommentLuv? Or will CommentLuv itself work with Blogspot?
Any help would be appreciated;-D
[Reply]
thanks for the link to CommentLuv!
I get asked all the time for versions that would work with blogspot and typepad and the simple answer is ,”NO”.
blogspot can’t do php and typepad can’t do plugins without perl. I even posted a job for a freelancer to convert it to work with typepad. not one bid!
looks like wordpress is the blog for luvvers!

Very grateful for the info.
I’ve no experience with other blog platforms, but am so thankful I chose Wordpress when I started out. My knowledge about the various options was zilch, so I was a very lucky lil rebel;-D

I use all of these plugins… Good pick! I’m a big fan of the “comment luv”, it’s so a great incentive to discover new blogs!

‘fraid not, pls refer to the comment above from Andy Bailey, the creator of commentluv;-D

Commentluv is a plugin that I have only just installed on my two newest blogs hoping that it will encourage people to take the time to leave a comment. Naturally this would only apply to blog owners, but heck, that’s a start isn’t it?

Hello Sire,
I dunno whether or not you’ve done this, but it’s a good idea to display the ‘U Comment, I Follow’ button on the sites on which you’re utilising CommentLuv.
Welcome to Reward Rebel;-D
[Reply]
Tell you the truth I have seen that around and have been considering doing just that. Time will tell.

I like the fact that everyone’s getting back to what blogging was born to be - a two way communication format.
Thanks RewardRebel for spreading the word on plugins that strive for this.
