Angel of Friendship

An Angel bearing sentiment I always intend to respond to tags, but rarely have the time.

Earlier today, however, I was tagged by someone whose friendship and love have shone a light into my day on more than one occasion, and I’m compelled to respond.

My heart is cheered by this beautiful little angel from Jenny of So It Goes and I’m humbled by the sentiments conveyed.

In the true spirit of friendship, which the angel represents, I’m not tagging anyone, but I am thanking the following people for their continued support:

There exists no obligation to do diddly-squat in response to this, it has simply provided me with an opportunity to stand up in the Mexican Wave of link love rippling through cyberspace.

Oh Layne, you just made my day! I have not seen you doing tags in the past and it is such an honor for me to see you actually posted this. You know you didn’t have to, I just really had to let you know how you’ve been an angel to me. I appreciate you tons. Blogging has been so much sweeter with you around.

Awww, that’s very sweet of you. Thanks for the mention. You are someone I regard as a true friend too, and there are very few of those in my blog list.

Angels usually are well disguised when they come down to earth, but I have always had that sneaking suspicion when I first looked into your site that you were one of them.

Jessie and Jennie,

Until I began blog hopping, the Philippines existed in my mind as a US military base, featured in many 1940-50s movies. No offence intended, that’s just how it was.

But now I’ve seen countless photos of your beautiful country, and ‘met’ people like yourselves, my partner and I have discussed spending a longer-than-usual vacation there (just as soon as I’ve made my millions online).

Thank you for opening my eyes and my mind.
