Making Money Online and Blogging 3

On a number of occasions recently in comments, I’ve made reference to having rediscovered how much I enjoy writing. When Reward Rebel was born, it was as a vehicle with which I could learn and practise blogging technicalities, with a view to making money online. It was never really my intention to promote it and encourage visitors.

The first entries I posted are barely-edited private label rights articles, which served the purpose of providing content around which I could learn the fundamentals, so that I could then apply my new skills to niche marketing sites.

Blog AdventureIt was a surprise when I found myself hungrily searching for just the right word to evoke whatever imagery I was attempting to conjure up from thin air. This was fun! What’s more it was my blog, hosted on my server, so I could do whatever I wanted. The control freak geek’s ultimate wet dream!

Internet marketing and blogging are inter-connected, but they are also worlds apart. The affiliate marketing aspect of internet marketing is very competitive, and although there exist network marketing joint ventures, ultimately the leading webpreneurs are all competing to promote the same products to the same finite market.

They start to look a little ridiculous, as they each offer a more generous bonus than the last guy, in an attempt to bribe you into choosing to buy the latest ‘wonder product’ from their affiliate site.

On the other side of the coin, we have bloggers practically knocking each other out as they offer you their hand, to help pull you up!

The friendly, supportive nature of the blogging community was a refreshing surprise, and is in fact having a profound effect on the development of my present attitude to my online activities. I’ve welcomed the kindness of strangers, and in turn I’ve tried to give assistance wherever I’m able.

The discovery of blogging and the blogging community has been a real eye opener, and is without a doubt, a positive enhancement in my life. I’m enjoying the writing, the interaction, and the interesting new things I’m learning.

Everyday the adventure grows.

    Reward Rebel,

It really is rewarding isn’t it? Getting support and assistance from people you don’t really know, may never meet, nor even have a cup of tea with. The biggest surprise of all is discovering things we have in common with so many people in different parts of the world; and the unity in aspirations transcends borders set up by governments, whose paranoia alienates the people they are supposed to serve from the service the people require.

John Lennon had it right in the song “Imagine”.

In this virtual world, we can create the rules and the behavior patterns regardless of race, creed, color, or religion. I know this from my blogging experience. Humanity overrides anything political, economic, ideological or religious differences. I wish we could do away with all these in the real world. –Durano, done!

    Reward Rebel,

We have the same experiences as of late. Blogging has been fun for the past few months of my blogging experience. My money-making ventures are slowly gaining momemntum. In fact I’ve signed up with several paid ads company, as you must have seen in my blog. However, I still keep in mind and on top of my priorities my NEED to write good articles to share what I know and express my sentiments. It’s true, blogging and online marketing can be different worlds but our passion to write and earn just makes them inseparable at times.

I hope you only the best for you in your quest to earn online. I really hope you’ll make a lot of money so that I can ask you to send me some through Paypal. Hahaha! Take care, my friend.

    Durano and Jessie,
The lyrics to ‘Imagine’ are utopian, and also reflective of the blogging community spirit. If the real world was more like the virtual one, perhaps there wouldn’t be so many of us seeking refuge in cyber space!

Ya know, I have such affection for both of you and, yes, it is strange, as we’ve never met, but don’t rule out any possibility for the future. When I’ve made my millions, I’ll sail over in my yacht to visit y’all… and then we will par-TAY;-D

I enjoy bloggers’ interaction a lot, like you. I got so many “free” and unexpected gifts since I started blogging - help when I needed it, advice, offers… I love it!

    Nishadha and Zhu -
I don’t think I’ve ever heard a negative thing said about the blogging community, and it’s this easy acceptance we have of one another that led to my latest post I Would Rather Go Blind

Beautiful thoughts in this post, really. I just popped in to check who my previous “visitor” was, and I m glad I did because I read really sensible articles. So, thanks for posting them and thanks for visiting my site.

I must agree with you that the blogging community, whose wonders are just unfolding to me, is one loving and encouraging community. All I got so far were kind words, not a single mean blogger I have encountered.

    Bye!
